Dakota Fanning
You'll next see 17-year-old Fanning in "Breaking Dawn" Parts 1 and 2. And while vampires are her latest thing, she played a rocker in the indie film "The Runaways."

She's all grown up!
Dakota Fanning, who most of us remember as a tiny little girl in "I Am Sam" and "War of the Worlds," has graduated from North Hollywood's Campbell Hall Episcopal High School, People magazine reports.
And despite her flourishing Hollywood career, Fanning managed to be both a cheerleader and homecoming queen in high school (hate her yet?).
Recently, Fanning has appeared as a Volturi vampire in the "Twilight" saga and rocker Cherie Currie in "The Runaways," both co-starring Kristen Stewart. But will Fanning grow up to top K-Stew at the box office? And will she evolve into America's Next Sweetheart, like Meg Ryan and Julia Roberts before her?
She may -- but she'll have some serious competition from her own sister.

Astoria Malfoy♥ Bass Redfer... 2011/06/08 23:38:01Hailee Steinfeld+5I actually like Elle over Dakota, but Hailee Steinfeld held her own in a movie with amazing actors, and was nominated for Best supporting actress at the Academy Awards. This is just her beginning.
I love Dakota in Dreamer, but not even her can make me want to watch the twilight movies.
and I love Elle in Babel, and the curious case of Benjamin Buttons, Phoebe in Wonderland, and I really want to watch Super8.
So its between Elle and Hailee for me.

I don't like Dakota Fanning, she will now only be known for being in Twilight just like Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner.
Elle Fanning? I only knew her because of her relationship to Dakota Fanning.
Hailee Steinfeld was BRILLIANT in 'True Grit', but it's not really kid appropriate.
Willow Smith sucks period.
Miranda Cosgrove and Emma Roberts should really be in more stuff I think they're good. I can't wait for 'The Art of Getting By' :)
Selena Gomez will always being known as the Barney girl who worked for Disney and dated Nick Jonas, and Justin Bieber. She needs boys to make her relevant, Dakota? she makes herself relevant
And Elle is a good actress, same with Hailee, who already had a hit movie and an oscar nomination.
I watched that one movie with Elle in it and I thought she did really well but it's not enough to get her noticed by more people especially because the movie didn't get very good ratings and ha, I guess it wasn't interesting enough for me to remember it's name.
I used to like Dakota Fanning but lately not so much that I can't stand her and the choices she's been making as an actress.
Her last movie didn't even reach 10 millions in the long weekend
She is over-exposed, not popular.
In her last movie, the critics said she was bland, and gave Leighton Meester the best performance in the movie.
My older sister did use to watch Hannah Montana, but she was not a Disney fan.
Selena Gomez doesn't come across as the girl with the power to be relevant without dating a famous boy. Or being compared to someone else.
She's not a very good singer in my opinion but there are many others that like her songs because of the lyrics. She will have fans because of her 'diversity', she can 'sing' and 'act' and even if critics do give her bad reviews there are things called 'die-hard fans' that will support her all the way.
She has couple of fans that might stick with her for some years, but most of her fan base are little kids and tweens, and they move on.
