If she starts doing it at every concert, then there may be a cause for concern. At this point however I think it's hats off to this twelve year old boy who conned his way into getting a kiss from Carrie Underwood.

The boy was at her concert, holding up a sign that asked "Will you be my first kiss?"

She chose to bring him up on the stage and honor his request, and the crowd certainly appreciated that she would be so giving to a fan.

i watched this as it was reported on HLN and there was no part of it that was any thing more than cute and considerate.

And while it might be frowned upon, if a regular adult gave a 12 year old a peck on the lips in public, I sincerely doubt that any legal charges could be filed, and actually held up in a court of law...

A kiss doesn't equal 'statutory rape', IMO.

understandable, i guess, just iffy , i got a 14 year old daughter and i guess just have it set in my heart that someone older kissed her, i think id freak out, but i understand what your saying, just caught me off gaurd when i seen it and that was the first thing came to mind , cause i pictured someoen kissing her, and the parent button clicked in , but thank you as well for bringing that to my attention, sometime takes someone else advice to see things clearly
