BuySeasons, Inc., a Wisconsin-based parent company that runs popular costume websites like Celebrate Express and Buy Costumes, recently landed itself in the Guinness Book of World Records for gathering more than 400 people in video game-related constumes together in one place.
According to PRWeb, the company assembled a total of 425 costumed characters on Wednesday at the BuySeasons headquarters in Milwaukee. They had a Guinness World Records representative on-hand to confirm the record, and guests included characters from The Super Mario Bros., Halo, Angry Birds, Pac-Man, Pokemon, Mortal Kombat, and whatever else you can make out in this picture.

BuySeasons President and CEO Daniel Haight said, "We are thrilled to now hold the current Guinness World Record in this category. Our team works tirelessly to ship millions of Halloween costumes to our customers, but today the celebration was all about them!"
We do have one question to ask Guinness World Records: Um, have you have been to Comic-Con? Because we're pretty sure they break that record every year. Just sayin'. (We'll definitely give BuySeasons the Most Luigis at One Party record, though.)

Group awards for wearing themed clothing is just too lame to be in the record book. When you think about it, we have 400 people who wore a costume who were close to each other. Big freaking deal.
