Conor Kennedy may have spent his summer making googly eyes at Taylor Swift but this winter, he has much more important things to do. Like getting arrested for a cause he believes in.
Conor is following in his dad’s footsteps, fighting the good fight to save the environment. In fact dad, Robert Kennedy, Jr., was locked up alongside his son, and 45 other Sierra Club protestors including civil rights activist Julian Bond and actress Daryl Hannah. The group had gathered outside the White House on Wednesday in objection to the proposed Keystone XL tar sands oil pipeline.
They hoped to send a message to President Obama to deny the pipeline, which they think would be devastating to the environment. And so they strapped themselves to the fence at 1600 Penn to make some noise. Hannah told an AP reporter, “This is a longstanding tradition that we have in this country to stand up for justice.”

Wow, you're such a brave and noble political activist to get arrested in a public forum knowing full well you'd be out in a matter of minutes after you pay a fine with the Kennedy family's bootlegger money.
And, whether he's sexy or not has no relevance to his decision to become involved in a cause he apparently considers important. Good for him. He is doing something he feels is a positive contribution.
For all who call themselves Christians & don't care about the environment, you are NOT fulfilling your DUTY as a child of God. He called us to be stewards of this planet he placed us on. IF WE DON'T DO IT THEN WHERE ARE WE GOING TO LIVE?
