As long as the festival and the music is good there is no particular place that makes it better. Well maybe the beach in the summer so one could watch bodacious babes in Bikinis... :D

Newport,Rhode Island would be a nice place. Remember,The Newport Jazz festival? It so "Hot" now, being near the water would be wonderful and "Cool"!

I remember Newport. I went to a festival there one summer. People tore the fences down to get in and I guess there was a riot. I did'nt think the riot was such a big deal, having gone to shows in Central Park. Newport cancelled the festival for years afterward.

Coachella and EDC are fantastic when it isn't triple-digits. I miss when EDC was in LA. And Seattle's Bumpershoot Festival? Awesomeness...

In the middle of rural England, placed in the middle of the Somerset countryside. Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts is my favourite place in the entire world.







In terms of size and amount of people the festival is technically the third biggest city in the south west of England. It's that big. But it's beautiful, with such an amazing atmosphere. It's the most amazing place in the world for me. It lasts 5 days, then it returns to being a cow farm. :)

I'd say near a coastline or in a wide open grassy area...I so prefer outdoor festivals after being drenched in beer, kicked in the head, and spit on in a warehouse venue. You don't need to be in a city or anything because if you're there for the music you're there for it, not anything else.

Perfect example of what I said right here. I'll bet you called a taxi to take you out of there, right? Yeah, I didn't think so.....

no no no you misunderstood what I said....I wasn't the one drinking (I'd never do something like that in a concert, too many ways to end up in a bad situation). I'm there to have fun, and I don't feel like drinking will amplify anything at a concert. The reason I was drenched in beer was because there WERE drunk people there who started 'moshing' (at an indoor, southern rock concert) and beer and body parts went everywhere (hence being kicked in the head by someone who thought it was an awesome idea to stage dive). I'm probably never going to go to another indoor venue again because of my experience with the one I was at. At least in an outdoor venue I can get away from creeps and drunks and actually have a good time. Hope this cleared it up for you...
