It depends on whether you are speaking of the original mini series the day of the triffids which at the time was good, and told the story of the book. or the American Version Which was a lot of crap and was nothing like the real story.

I'm glad I never caught the remakes for it, because I was told they weren't nearly as good as the original, but that's usually the way it is.
