Chumbawamba Breaks Up: What's Your Favorite '90s One-Hit Wonder Song?

Despite proclaiming "You're never gonna keep me down," 1990's one-hit wonder Chumbawamba has broken up, reports Rolling Stone. You gotta hand it to them though, the British band has been together for 30 years, which is a really long time for having only one successful single ("Tubthumping.")

However, in their announcement they did add that they "reserve the right to re-emerge as Chumbawamba," so maybe we'll see them "get up again" sometime in the future. For now, I've got to ask: Is "Tubthumping" by Chumbawamba your favorite 1990's one-hit wonder song? Or do you prefer another classic like "Nothing Compares 2 U" or "I'm Too Sexy"?

Too many. I love the 90's. Some I am not sure are one hit wonders but:
    Dishwalla - Counting Blue Cars
The Wallflowers - One Headlight (they have more than one, but I wanted to mention them)
Tonic - If You Could Only See
    Harvey Danger - Flagpole Sitta
    Shawn Mullins - Lullaby
Everlast - What it's Like...... ETC.
And the above mentioned in the poll.

Everlast and Wallflowers (as you even admitted) are not one hit wonders. Sorry, but I'm very particular in my 90's one hit wonders knowledge, ignore me haha.

Don't worry about it, I though Everlast might have more, also Tonic has also released other charted singles.. but I couldn't be bothered at the time to be honest.
    What're Everlast's other popular song(s)?

Chumbawamba was a great band. A fond farewell to them!

And by the way, Sinead O'Connor has had way more than one hit song. She has had a long and successful career in music.

None of these songs were bad. As a matter of fact, Torn is basically the perfect pop song - it has all the elements. And although Nothing Compares To You, the Prince-penned song was probably Sinead's biggest hit, she was a hardly a one hit wonder, no matter what people thing about her politics.

This was a classic anthem back in the 90's. Whatever happened to that band anyway?

To me for the 90's would be Chumbawamba's 'Tubthumping'

In the 80's I would pick 'Stutter Rap' by Morris Minor and the Majors
For the 00's I would pick Bloodhound Gang's 'The Bad Touch'

I don't really like any of these but I can tolerate Torn and Closing Time if they were suddenly playing.
