How awesome is Christian Bale? "The Dark Knight Rises" star visited the Medical Center of Aurora on Tuesday to meet with seven victims of the horrific mass shooting that occurred during a midnight showing of his hit film, The Denver Post reports.

"The patients were really happy to meet Bale," hospital interim president Bill Voloch told the Post. "They are obviously big fans of his movies. They wanted to see Batman and were really pleased to see Bale."
In their two-and-a-half hour visit, Bale and his wife also met with doctors, police officers and emergency medical technicians who were first responders when James Eagan Holmes allegedly killed 12 people and injured 58 others last Friday.
Clearly, Bale has taken the tragedy to heart -- and as Warner Brothers pointed out, Bale was in Colorado "as himself" -- not representing the movie studio. He even asked that media not be notified, but in the age of Twitter and Facebook, word inevitably leaked out. Seems like a good guy ...

Torchy 2012/07/25 20:18:39Real-life superhero+22He went on his own accord, and I'm guessing his own dime. It's not like Christian has ever struck me as a publicity whore, but I think that doing this on his own terms speaks volumes for his character. Cameras did follow him, but that's expected. It's a right sight better to see this than reports of him needing to go to anger management.

He has no legal or moral responsibility to the victims.
That he went anyway makes him a decent person in my opinion.
accidentally walked into the background during the shooting of a scene? It wasn't just him yelling a little, he raged, ranted & humiliated the guy. Yes, this is nhttp://www.youtube.com/watch... but he is no "superhero." Just sayin..
i would like to see you in a painful situation and doing it all over again
No fishies. :(
Defending a person isn't worshipping him
You might want to check yourself of you're judging a person on 1 act though
