John was far more well rounded. He could play serious as well as comedic roles and he was a consummate professional. I loved Farley, but he was a one trick pony.

Chris Farley/Adam Sandler style humor always came off to me as mean-spirited.

John Candy had more talent and he could work with any material given to him.
