Chris Brown Snubs Frank Ocean for Standing Ovation: Is He a Bad Loser?

He may have made his big comeback at the Grammys back in 2011, but this year's awards were yet another PR disaster for Chris Brown. Though he and now-confirmed girlfriend Rihanna were seen smiling and laughing together in their seats, Brown upset many viewers when the award for Urban Contemporary Album was announced -- the only category in which he was nominated.

Brown's album was beaten by critical darling Frank Ocean -- who was recently involved in a public brawl with Brown -- and his album "Channel Orange." When almost the entire house gave Ocean a standing ovation, Brown remained clapping in his seat, seemingly unimpressed.

A slow motion video of the event soon hit the internet, and many viewers expressed their anger on Twitter; one said that "Chris Brown has zero class and is disgusting," while actor Zach Braff received criticism for saying "Chris Brown lost? Rihanna might wanna put on a helmet." Do you think that Chris Brown is a sore loser?

Standing ovations are not required.. not unless it was prestaged and him sitting down was calculated to keep this rivalry going. You know, for Hollywood drama...

Don't worry. When he goes back to his old habit of using

Rihanna as his sparring partner then it's a confirmed visit

    back to Loserville for him.

But after what he did, he's already there.

Since when is it a habit, when you do something once? Or is it a black thing, that only a racist understands?

Since when is it a habit to assume everything said is racist?

I'd say he is. But what's more evident than anything, he just doesn't like Frank Ocean.

Would Frank had stood up? He applauded. He could've not done anything at all. This is supposed to be about the awards show 2013 & nothing to do with post Grammy's 2009. He and Frank recently fought, great he had enough decency to clap for him! Wouldn't even expect an applause from most other people.

He's not a "bad" loser - just a "sad" loser. Rihanna, run while you still can - before he kills you.

Yes in a way, and No. He's not a loser because he didn't stand up to clap, but he is a loser... because he is.

he didn't have to stand like everyone else, he clapped, that's good enough. it doesn't mean he's a sore loser, it means he's not a follower.

of course the little sociopath pussy is a sore loser. most of the sissy women abusers (who are egotistical sociopaths) love to be the center of attention. They think they are like God. so of course the sissy pouted

Not that I give a crap about Chris Brown, I don't. But he wasn't the only one who remained seated during Frank Ocean's win. At least he applauded.

Yes and no. Imagine yourself sitting there and having to gracefully - yet retain your self respect - deal with losing to someone you've been having this clash with. Yeah, Brown may be a bit of a dick... but most people would do about the same in this situation.

Did every award winner receive a standing ovation? If not, why did Ocean receive one? Give credit where credit is due, but standing for the sake of standing is b.s.

I really think that most of the people saying yes is saying yes because he beat rihanna, its not about that, its about his reaction, ( clearly ), chris worked his ass off this year and I would be kind of upset too but I still think he should have been kind of supportive, back to the subject of him beating rihanna, most of you m'fs dont know him personally so you don't know if he changed or not, you don't know if he's self centered or a douche, you don't even know why he did what he did so hop off, I'm personally proud of chris brown getting so far in his career and not letting people words get to him, I guess that's just my opinion

Who is happy to lose? What kind of person is that? It's not human nature to be happy when you lose. Sportsmanship is some kind of ideal that is sometimes mentioned but seldom exhibited. If this Chris Brown is too nice he will lose all his fans.
