It’s hard to imagine that Chris Brown has made a bigger mistake in his life than what he did to Rihanna on the eve of the Grammy Awards in 2009. That was the fateful night that he assaulted his girlfriend, which led to a highly publicized break-up, conviction and shunning by the majority of the people he knew in the entertainment industry.
In recent months, people have been shocked to discover that Rihanna and Brown are back together. Despite the fact that the couple is constantly flaunting their rekindled romance, fans and insiders alike are less-than-pleased with the message they feel their relationship sends.
Now, Brown is speaking out, telling The Mirror, ““That night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake.” One would hope that that’s the understatement of the century. But Rihanna has clearly been able to put the issue in the past after what Brown calls months of “serious making up.”
