Matt Forte signed with his current team. Other professional athletes demand trades, hold out or enter the free agency for bigger contracts. Fans have loyalties to their teams for various reasons: because they live in the team's city, like the team's colors, like the team's players or want to follow a winning franchise.

its not close,fans put up with greed and scandal,lies and deception from the players,the owners and league bosses all the time while paying their salaries!

Kind of a funny choice of two options. I chose fans because they are more likely to stay in one place. But, I think some players prefer to stay with one team, like the great Walter Payton did!
