Remember Cheryl Cole, the unfamiliar name that was dropped along with Paula Abdul and L.A. Reid as the judges for the American version of "X Factor"?
Yeah, neither do we.
But that doesn't matter, because MTV reports that she's been replaced anyway, though it's not just because most American audiences have never heard of her.
MTV also reports that Cole and Abdul didn't get along, though we think that would have been a selling point.

A spokesperson for "X Factor" did not return requests for comment at press time, but TMZ added that former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger, who was to serve as one of two hosts on the show, was tapped to replace Cole.
The gossip site later explained that Cole was removed "largely because producers were concerned her thick Newcastle English accent would be too difficult for an American audience to understand," citing unnamed sources close to the show.

I saw Martin Henderson on television and even he had to speak with a funny American accent.
PS. Martin Henderson is a New Zealander.
I am not that pleased.
Just look at Cowell, he is not very good looking *emphasis in the Very*, yet women adore him because of his accent.
My mother included.
Yet again, my mother seems to be worst that those horny teenagers.
She loves every single 40+ famous men there is... well mostly.

Also contrary to American opinion, everyone in England doesn't speak super posh. There is more to England than London.
My putting out instead of our is simply a typo, whereas you putting silly commas and not capitalising is bad grammar. I am clever, thank you for realising :)
Finally, no specific person said London is all there is to England, it's just a view I think some Americans might have, but some English people have the view that New York is all there is to America which I'm sure is incorrect.
I hope you realise you have been defeated. Thank you and Good Night :)
I didn't say New York is all YOU think of America, I said it was what some English people think of America.
Yes I did say that most American accents are annoying, but some aren't.
I'm not annoyed that you haven't put capitals, I was just saying and you have majorly over-reacted.
How can you call me a childish little girl, when you don't know my age, for all you know I could be older than you.
I will grow up, eventually, just not anytime soon :)
I didn't say that you not putting capitals annoyed me, I said that people who don't type properly annoy me. You did overreact.
I am I nice girl, although I hate the word nice.
