Charlie Sheen's Show Takes Off: Do You Plan to Watch?

Charlie Sheen's first post-"Two and a Half Men" project, "Anger Management," hasn't even aired yet, and according to Yahoo!, advertisers are already begging for a piece of the action. There's no telling how good the show will actually be, but marketers and investors are banking on Sheen's star power and creator Bruce Helford of "The Drew Carey Show" fame to deliver, despite skepticism when the project was announced last year.

So far, only 10 episodes of "Anger Management" have been made for the first season, but The Hollywood Reporter claims that FX and Lionsgate have given producers the green light to start working on new episodes on July 9 -- nearly two months before they'll even find out if the show has been picked up for new episodes. If ratings on the first set of episodes are good enough, it could bag a 90-episode contract. If not, the studio is wasting $700,000 on premature production. Do you plan to watch Charlie Sheen's new show?

I'll try it out because I am a bi-winning High Priest Vatican Assassin Warlock from Mars with tiger blood.

In all seriousness though. Two and a Half Men was decent. Why not take the plunge?

I won't watch. I watched a couple of episodes of Two and a Half Men & found it to be offensive, mysogynistic & predictable. I was disappointed by Conchetta Farrell's part as she is a talented & funny actress so it was sad to see her sink so low for money. Unfortunately, people are generally stupid & they will watch what the networks tell them to watch & for some reason, Sheen seems to have gained a following BECAUSE of his insane antics which is a sad indictment on society really.

People are not "generally stupid" and each of us has different ideals about what we find funny.

I've been saying it for a while now, "He looks as though he's been sucked dry by a ravenous vampire." and they finally catch him in his coffin. I'm telling you, and mark my words; Chuck is a freaking vampire!

I don't think Two and a Half Men will ever be the same without Sheen. But a show that surrounds completely around him is asking for trouble.

Maybe his "tiger blood" will help him make this new show successful.

Sure do, he is a good actor. Everything I have seen him in has been good so I can understand the advertisers view they want people to see their product so you buy it. You go where the action is. Charlie Sheen Charlie Sheen
