Chad Ochocinco Live Tweets His Wedding: Have We Gone Too Far With the Tweeting?

Apparently, having cameras following him around 24/7 for a new reality show has blurred the lines of acceptable boundaries for Chad Ochocinco. The football star married his girlfriend Evelyn Lozada on the 4th of July and spent the day -- before, during and after the ceremony -- tweeting a play-by-play of the events to his fans. See some of his tweets in the video below!

Of course all of the preparations for the nuptials have been caught on tape as the “Dancing with the Stars” alum and the “Basketball Wives” star film their upcoming VH1 reality series, the aptly named “Ev and Ocho.” But it seems Ochocinco, aka Chad Johnson, thought tweeting would help calm the jitters. Before the ceremony he wrote, “Marrying 1 of Gods best designs” and “Using twitter as a diversion to keep me from getting nervous.”

This tweet probably did not sit well with the bride: “You should see what i'm wearing, the sad part is i look better than Ev?” He told his followers, “ochoccinco is gonna be at the alter still Tweeting!” and was even replying back to his fans on the big day. When @CASHBABEH tweeted, “What's more nerve wrecking getting married, or playing football” the reality star responded, “Football sis, wedding is awesome.”

Ochocinco informed fans about Ev’s outfits, which stars attended (ie. "DWTS" Cheryl Burke) and even how drunk his guests were (very). But is this really information we need to know? Is nothing sacred these days, including the ritual of matrimony? Put down the cell, Chad and be present in the moment. What do you think: Have we all gone too far with the tweeting?

It's like a blog. You only subscribe if you actually care about the nuances of a persons life. If he wants his fans to hear about his wedding, that's his prerogative.

It's not necessarily the public-at-large who have gone too far with the tweeting, but there are some athletes and other celebrities who seem to be addicted to Twitter. For the same reason I don't use Facebook, I don't care to know about anybody else's vacations, love life, what they're wearing today, when the last time is that they took a dump, and all the other minutiae of another person's life, not even my family and close friends. And I'm sure that I'm not interesting enough to give the world a blow-by-blow description of every detail of my life. Ho-hum.

Chad Ochocinco [I thought he was changing has last name back to "Johnson"] is one of the more notorious of the world's tweeters. As a long-suffering Cincinnati Bengals fan, I used to be one of Chad's biggest supporters. However, his shenanigans got to be WAY too stupid and irritating, both on and off the field, and he's even been reprimanded and fined by the NFL for some of his more ridiculous hijinx. The thing is, an athlete can talk smack and act like a total jackass ONLY if he can back it up with excellence on the field. Over the past two or three years, Ochocinco could NOT back up his words with his skills.

As for Chad's tweeting before, during and after his wedding ceremony, I think that's pretty hilarious. [I figure...

As for Chad's tweeting before, during and after his wedding ceremony, I think that's pretty hilarious. [I figured that VH1 would make a reality show about him and his new bride as a spin-off of "Basketball Wives," which is one of the station's more popular show. WHY is anybody's guess, but it draws the viewers.] Evelyn Lozada, Ochocinco's wife, is without a doubt the most conceited woman on the show, and every other word that comes out of her mouth has to be bleeped. She drops F-bombs with abandon, and she's in general a real potty-mouth. She's attractive enough, but she's sure got old Chad wrapped around her little finger. He even bought her a Maserati for her birthday, which is NOT cheap. In fact, since Ochocinco's had to take a HUGE pay cut for the past two years, he'd be better advised to start saving his money if he wants to make that gold-digger Lozada happy. In fact, I have a hundred bucks here that says they don't make it after two years of wedded bliss. Any takers? [I wonder if Chad tweeted photos and a play-by-play description of him and his lovely new wife banging each other on their honeymoon.]

Because I don't talk about anything personal on here. An easy test to know if someone is a loser is to ask them if they are on twitter. If they are then they are a loser, no need to investigate further.

Chad has for far too long been obsessed with tweeting, which only adds to the reason why he's viewed as a big time attention whore! His bride should have knocked his cell phone to the floor and stomped on it! It would come as no surprise if he tweeted his honeymoon activities too! LOL!

The out of control ego and vanity are disgusting. And here come the generations growing up with that idea being okay. We'll be living in an age where nearly everyone is a douchebag. Hell, we almost do now.

I don't have a tweet account but I can see that he was happy about his wedding & wanted to share with fans & friends that couldn't attend. It's OK if his fiance/wife doesn't mind. I bet she's so used to it she doesn't care. If she if bugs her Chad isn't the husband for her.

Will Tom Kat tweet the whole divorce? Inquirering minds want to know!

Its gotten to the point when people that go out together barely look each other in the face because they are too busy staring down at the phones....Perhaps we should just tape each others phones on our foreheads to mimic some semblance of a social interaction.

I know that song. The one I took the tweets from is another song that goes back even further in time.
