Remember that one show about seeing how random civilians survive in the (kind of) wild that they started airing in the U.S. about 12 years ago? Yeah, it's been renewed for two more seasons.
CBS recently announced that they'll be keeping "Survivor," one of the network's longest-running reality shows, for at least two more years -- making it survive (pun intended) through 2013 with Season 25 and 26.
Jeff Probst, who's been the host of "Survivor" ever since it started airing in the U.S. in 2000 says he's ecstatic about coming back to host and produce. "I am thrilled to continue working on the longest-running reality competition show with the world's greatest adventure crew for two more seasons," Probst said in a statement. "We are so thankful for the supportive fans who remain with us every season, and we promise to deliver another year of quality television."
So, what say you? Are you one of the "supportive fans" of "Survivor" that Jeff Probst is referring to?

- Adam 2011/11/21 16:40:02NoThe fact that it exists doesn't hurt me, I watched like, the first season, and the show started before the widespread reality TV infection, so I have nothing against it. However...Im not so okay with the prospect of Survivor having more seasons then The Simpsons, when Simpsons is possibly facing cancellation.reply

- big lou from peru 2011/11/21 12:31:33No+3it's as stupid and worthless as it's producers....if they really want to see if they can survive, throw the group out of a C-130 (with parachutes) at 10,000 feet over the amazon jungle with supplies for 1 week , but will pick them up at a check point in 2 weeks. ....oh yea and no camera men just a note book to write down there exploits or deaths and where they burred each other ,see how many volunteers you will get from the holly wood type...........reply

Only weirdos watch CBS and this show. Between their horrible programming and their bias news broadcasting, it's no surprise their ratings are in the toilet. Only NBC is worse.reply - angel face Bob DiN 2011/11/21 14:21:40
and i dont watch either one unless on NBC the figure skating or gymnastics is onreply - Bob DiN angel face 2011/11/21 16:08:25

- Ms. Texas 2011/11/21 04:45:34No+3I tried to watch it once but it was so contrived and melodramatic. And how "real" is it when there's a film crew and producer, etc. ? Take those bozos out to the jungle for 6 months by themselves with no technology, no film crew and zero outside assistance and see how well they survive.reply
