Yes

I worked for 10 years to pay off my own through the 80's. Now I have to pay off loans required for my kids. Financial Aid - that is not Aid at all, but financial bondage.

Yes

I can relate. However, I have a college degree and almost no debt. I paid for my education through practicing a high tech trade. Get a trade that is useful before going to college. We need more plumbers and electricians who can cite Shakespeare.

I have to admit that I irritate all the current students by telling them that when I went to college it was all free! In fact I got a grant of £10 pounds a week to live on.

£10 might not seem like much but a pint of lager only cost 14p at the time!

Yes

I only had one year of school and then i realized if I keep going I'll have 50,000 dollars + of debt, with no way to pay it off, because despite everyone saying "you need a college degree to get a good job" jobs requiring college degrees are becoming less and less available, well, any job really. So, I dropped out, now I just have to figure out what I am going to do.
