As long as the music doesn't have words in it or is not my favorite, Im ok with it. I listened to orchestra music while reading a few times.

but why would i want to do that...it would be like mating with two females simultaneously...when being with one is so much better so i can fully experience her...i either read a book and enjoy it or i listen to my metal and enjoy that...now i will mix my drinks, but even there i prefer them straight up

    Yeah, I can.
I can slo listent o music and text without typing what I'm listening to. But's it's kind of funny when you do because you can get some of the weirdest things. Like "Hey There Delilah" you could be texting 'hey whats up? Why weren't you in school today?" Then it comes out "hey whats it like in new york city. What you to me." Haha.

I will be reading something like Kidnapped or Around the World in 80 Days, and instead of David and Allen fighting, all I get out of it is:
    Omg-g! You can't see me-me! Cause I'm a ninja-ninja-ja, ninja-ni-ninja!

If it's an interesting book that music goes with, then no problem. But usually no, I get too distracted by the music and focus on that instead of reading, and wind up getting farther in the book than I realized, and see that I was just kind of skimming and had no idea what happened. Heh.

Well it all depends on the book it is,because the other day i was reading a book and my mom was listening to Jay-Z and i couldnt read that book for nothing. But the next day I got into a different book, and my mom was listening to Kings Of Leon, and i could read it.as a matter of fact i finished it in one whole day.

Yes. I can barely read without music now. The music is just background noise- unless a really GREAT song comes on, then maybe it's different. But at times music really helps. Try listening to Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" while reading the scene where Voldemort rises from the dead in Goblet of Fire. Or Nickelback's "How You Remind Me" during ANY battle scene in The Last Olympian (especially with Nico in it!) And any sad romantic scene HAS to be read with 'Already Gone' by Kelly Clarkson. Or... oh, I could go on for hours. I'm listening to "Circus" by Britney Spears right now. (Music is good for surfing the Web and writing, too!)

I tend to get bored reading text books and things if I don't have any music. Reading a novel, I still like to have music.
