there are websites for it. copy the link for the video and post into the area on the particular website and then click download. as it downloads it converts the video to an mp3.

www.video2mp3.net is good, legal too, as far as im aware, as it is just converting it, although i feel bad occasionally, just because the artists arent getting my money...but then i think..well, whats the difference weather i watch the song 2 times a day on youtube or twice on my ipoD???? they get the same amount of money =/

search the phrase "youtube to mp3" on google and you will find many file converters, which will take any video and convert it into an mp3, so you can put it in your itunes or on your mp3 player.

Yes. Just type YouTube converter into Google and go to the second option; copy and paste the URL from the YouTube page - which has the video you want - into the space and convert it - then download it and drag it onto your MP3 file.

I have a wonderful stereo and choose to listen my favorites again and again from my collection of hundreds of CDs or buy new ones to add to my collection. I do not own an ipod.

I don't know, but pretty much all the music on YT is available on itunes or other sites to purchase. And I DO purchase them, because the entertainers deserve to get a cut for their talent. I have no idea how much an artist gets, say from a 99 cent tune, but I expect not a big chunk. Stealing music is still stealing, however much anyone thinks it can be justified.

I agree artists should get a cut but now Itunes raised their prices from 99 cents to 1.29 and that isn't fair.

It is called inflation. Nothing stays the same when the costs of manufacturing goods are rising and our dollars have gone down in value.

Use Orbit Downloader to download the original video file, then use SUPER by eRightSoft to convert the audio track to whatever you like. Be sure to have the YouTube picture set to at least 360p for full-quality audio.

Walking all over the copyright laws is like walking all over the performer. They bring us so much pleasure we owe it to them to purchase their tunes, aside from the fact that it's against the law.

lol...I agree but that still doesn't make me feel bad. I don't know why but for some reason I can't bring myself to see getting free music as stealing. Many of the musicians I listen to have so much money they don't know what to do with it. Don't worry the people whose music I get for free...they're not suffering. I'm sure Jay Z could care less about my downloaded one of his song when he is not that far from a billionaire xD

If he does that I am DEFINITELY not paying for it as that just shows the amount of Greed within him.
