As we covered here before on SodaHead Sports, the San Francisco 49ers have seen a rebirth this NFL season. For as memorable as they were in the '80s and '90s, the team was just as forgettable in the early 2000s, with no playoff appearances after 2002. However, that's all changed in 2011. The 49ers are 11-3, NFC West champions, and are guaranteed a playoff spot with homefield advantage for their first postseason game.
If the 49ers win their last to games and the New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers slip, they could get homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. They are 7-1 at home at Candlestick Park. Despite numerous power outages and a tough opponent in the Pittsburgh Steelers, the 49ers dominated them on Monday Night Football, cruising to a 20-3 win. Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger played hurt and couldn't handle the 49ers defense, throwing three interceptions. Roethlisberger's thoughts on the 49ers' performance? “I was probably the best 49er tonight,” Roethlisberger said to Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com.
The more they keep winning, the more the confidence of the 49ers grows. A very good team with homefield advantage, youth, and confidence could be a nightmare for the NFC come playoff time. The question before the season was whether the 49ers could make the playoffs. If they keep on rolling into the playoffs, the question might be whether they get to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1994.

They had one bad day. My guess is they didn't like it.
Come on with your bad self! LOL!
PS: Bring a jacket.
The 9ers currently have zero playoff experience. The Falcons have it and the Saints and Packers are former Super Bowl Champions. The 9ers will have to get by at least two of those three teams. I don't see it happening.
I would like to see the Saints at the superbowl again, but also not convinced that will happen either.
WHO'S GOT IT BETTER THAN US NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BODY...!
