New York Knicks guard Jeremy Lin may not have scored 20 points his last game, but he did dish out a career high 13 assists to help will his team to their seventh straight win. Sure, you can argue that the Washington Wizards, New Jersey Nets, Toronto Raptors, and Sacramento Kings are no where near the NBA's elite teams, but wins are wins and before "linsanity" emerged, the Knicks were a sinking ship.
On a humorous note, the popular NBA2K12 video game from 2KSports re-updated its rosters, which means there's a video game version of Lin. Unfortunately, the game can't capture the skill level that he's shown the last two weeks. Ronnie Singh, Community Manager of 2KSports, says that Jeremy Lin's stats will increase after his latest performance.

Singh also made note on Twitter that if Lin can sustain this success, he will be one of the higher-rated players in the video game. We can only imagine how crazy the NBA would be with even more linsanity. But that's the question. Can Lin sustain his success and constantly be a threat to opposing teams or will his streak fizzle out? As for the present, the New York Knicks -- and Jeremy Lin -- are riding a wave of momentum and only look to get better when Carmelo Anthony returns to the lineup.

Last night's game with the Hornets was the whole team's fault. They had plenty of chance to win at the end of that game but failed to do so cuz everyone was missing shot after shot. Lin's TO was bad but he is the only Knick who could penetrate the rim. Don't put the responsibility on J. Lin to win every game for the team, and when they lose, point fingers at him. That's retarded.
I do admire Lin, but that positive feeling is tempered somewhat by the resentment I feel toward the over-the-top attention that any New York athlete receives compared to athletes from lower profiled parts of the country.
Lin has learned it early and good for him.
