Yes, years ago,like the 80's, I got a 'body wave' which turned out to be a real 'Bozo' cut instead. I was a total wreck going into work the next day. It took a long time to get it calmed down.

I am really picky about my hair, and if it's cut way too short or not the way I explain, then yeah I have cried. I've been putting off a haircut because I'm not sure what I want to get.

and cameron is rich - can't she get a wig or extensions in the meantime??

I'm not emotionally attached to my hair. I can't get attached to a dead fiber. That's all that hair is to me. And, I frequently get it cut, so I could keep it just above my shoulders because I dislike long hair. Yeah, I've gotten some pretty bad haircuts over the years, but I don't cry even then because it grows back. I guess I would only cry over my hair if I suddenly woke up bald one morning. Then I might throw fit.

I was 22 years old and had just given birth to my first child about a week earlier. I needed a TRIM. I just needed an inch off of my hair that was down to my waist. Wellll.... I went to the corner shop and I asked the man there if he could take about an inch off of my hair. Before I could say anything, he had cut almost a foot off of the back of my hair, and there was nothing I could do. Did I cry? You bet your ass I did.

When I was ten my sister conned me into letting her cut my hair with the promise of 5 bucks and a doll , so I let her cut it,,,,,well for starters, one I cried and hollered for her to glue it back on and two, she bullchitted me, all I got was the doll. My hair was past my shoulders at that time.. That was the last time I had my hair cut,I have never liked short hair and I don't ever want short hair.

I cried when my daughters cut theirs (figuratively). They had me up to 200 bucks I was going to give them not to cut it. As they were getting their hair washed I went to 250... They just smiled and said no daddy.

I was crushed.

It is all good. Not sure. I always went on the idea that most dads have short hair or they like long hair on girls.

I personally like women with long hair.

Still the hair went to a good cause and the kids liked the short hair for a while. That is all that matters.

I was granted, very young at the time.

However, I don't think I'd be able to stop my eyes watering if my hair was cut off now. It just means too damn much to me. It's not only who I am but apart of my belief system. Without my hair I'd be lost.

Men: It'd be like having yourselves castrated
Women: ...do I really need to provide you with an example? Really? Okay... it's like going outside into a public crowd without perfume and make up or your hair done up nicely where everyone is paying attention to you. >=D

My hair was waist lenth and I said take off 2 inches and the bitch took off 7. Super Cuts, remember them? Ha, I physically had to stop my husband from going down there and reaming her out. Now I go to someone at a professional salon I trust and have seen for years.

I got a perm in the 8o's and they left it in way to long and I looked like a french poodle, had to cut my hair off after it grew out some. It was so bad, trust me you would have cried too.

I let mine grow out until it reaches my hiny and then donate because that happened to me the first time I donated. I got to have some hair even if its to my shoulders. I don't think I'll ever be one of those women that shave the back and have hair in front? Love the style but just can't do it. So your not silly.

My hair WAS really long. The bitch stylist cut it about six inches ABOVE the place where she'd put the ponytail holder. I hate all those strange hairstyles, too. Those geometric cuts, where one side is longer than the other, or the back is short and the front is long, and the worst cut, shaving part of the head, aren't styles I'd want to wear. Yikes. Thanks for saying I'm not being a jackass about it! And I've learned from experience to NEVER try to discuss this with a man. They just don't "get it.!"

Oh listen up ladies, I've been told, not sure if it's true, that if you have gray in your hair, they won't take it. That's really absurd if true. Lot's of cancer patients have grayish hair!
