What really aggravates me the most about it is having that queer channel LOGO on the package I pay for. That one is blocked at my house. That and all the sports and shopping and latino channels. I probably only watch 4 or 5 stations out of the over 200 I pay for. I never watch any of the MSM news channels because they are liberal liars who do not have any journalistic ethics. I don't subscribe to any movie channels because they seldom have anything on worth watching and they run the same ones over and over. We'd all be better off to throw those idiot boxes in the trash. The programming corrupts the minds of children and adults, too. That's why society has become so immoral, disrespectful and corrupt. Garbage in-garbage out! What we see and hear has a huge influence on us. The Bible says,"By beholding, we become changed." It's like the schools indoctrinating children, only we are being indoctrinated from our own living room.
We should be able to choose the channels we want and pay for those channels only.

Obviously, we don't get to choose so they can advertise how great their channel package prices are and charge us more for the vast majority of channels we never watch. But gee, we can customize the guide to get rid of them and ain't that just a great perk?

That would give us too much control over what gets beamed into our homes. Even though allowing an option like that would bring people in droves to a cable company (imagine a marketing scheme of "Roll Your Own" where you pick your own channels at reduced fees in packages of 5, 10, 15 or 20! You decide what you want and keep what you don't want out!) it makes too much sense. While we're on the subject, one of my big complaints is that cable channels were supposed to be non-commercial. You're paying extra for them so then why are they racking up all these commercial dollars? And with parental controls, why are they still chopping up movies? Not just bleeping out "offensive" words (they'll take out 'goddamn' and leave in every racial epithet known) but entire scenes. I mean, they're even chopping reruns of TV shows to cram in an extra three minutes of commercials! That isn't what I signed up for.

I meant to agree that I want to pick my own channels and having pre-selected packages shoved down our throats sucks.
