Britney Spears greeted fans on Saturday in Kansas City, Mo., the latest stop on The X-Factor audition trail.

And, of course, there was drama.

All four judges -- Britney, Demi Lovato, L.A. Reid and Louis Walsh, who was filling in for bronchitis-battling Simon Cowell -- walked out of the auditions at the Sprint Center after one contestant decided not to face them while he was singing.

People.com reports all the judges, except Britney, returned to finish the show with one final contestant. Brit Brit returned for the second show taping.

Britney, however, sounded upbeat about it all. She tweeted: "Holy cow Kansas City! Blown away by the talent at @TheXFactorUSA. Headed home to my boys now - I'll see u next week San Fran/Oakland. Xxoo"
