Once again, the evil twin of the Academy Awards -- The Razzies -- has announced the list of films deemed bad enough to be among the worst of the year, and leading the nominations is none other than the concluding installment of the "Twilight Saga."

"Breaking Dawn - Part 2" has picked up eleven nominations, including Worst Picture, lead-acting nods for Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, supporting nominations for Ashley Greene and Taylor Lautner, and one for director Bill Condon.

Second is Adam Sandler's raunchy dud "That's My Boy" with eight nominations. Famously, Sandler's "Jack and Jill" made history last year by scooping 10 awards.

Other nominees include Rihanna-starring flop "Battleship," Eddie Murphy's unfunny comedy "A Thousand Words," Tyler Perry with multiple nominations including "Madea's Witness Protection," the awful "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" and Katherine Heigl's latest bomb, "One for the Money." Which film do you think was the worst of last year?

I can't say. I haven't been to many movies this this year. Perhaps the one movie I saw in 2012 that I didn't like was IRON LADY, a movie about Margaret Thatcher starring Meryl Streep as the British Prime Minister. THE IRON LADY portayed Thatcher as a senile old woman who kept seeing her deceased husband in her imagination and having flashbacks of her life as a politician and prime minister.

Slight differences, I think that Alzheimer's may be genetic.

Actress Estelle Getty of GOLDEN GIRLS fame died of dementia in 2008.

That movie was great, and factual. It gave great insight into one of the most influential women Britain has ever seen. She has however developed dementia over time, that wasn't something from a script. If you knew enough about thatcher to want to see this movie, I'm surprised you didn't know how her mental health had declined. That would be like not knowing about the condition Muhammad Ali is in now after his long career. Both are very sad cases.

I guess I don't know much about her, but I did like the way she handled the Falkand Islands Crisis with Argentina she was a great and strong woman and did bring back some of the glory of the British Empire when Britiania ruled the waves. But glory, greatness and strength can't guarrantee immortality.

That's right my friend, Hollywood hasn't been churning out too many good movies in the past four or five years or so. That's too bad, maybe they've just have run out of ideas; or imagination; or good entertainers.

Maybe in centuries to come scientists will able to cryonically freeze or clone the great entertainers of the past like Al Jolson, Charlie Chaplin, Clark Gable, Jimmy Durante, Marlene Dietrich, Mae West, Laurel & Hardy, Burns & Allen, Jack Benny, the Marx Brothers, Bob Hope, Laurence Olivier, Lucille Ball, Frank Sinatra, Jackie Gleason and countless others. There a heck of alot than Matt Damon, Bradd Pitt, Whoopie Golberg, Brittney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, Madonna and countless others.

me and all my friends hate the twilight series, but i loved breaking dawn for two reasons.
1. it show people how bad this series is.

Breaking Dawn - Part 2, although not best movie of the year was actually not bad at all, and I hated all of the other movies, I read the books when I was younger and enjoyed them but obviously grew up (and read far better books).

My question is, how many of the (currently) 241 people who have voted Breaking Dawn - Part 2 as the worst movie of the year have actually seen it?
You shouldn't judge something you haven't experienced.

Oh and yes, That's My Boy was terrible, I love old school Sandler but everything since and including 50 First Dates has been horrible.

Battleship was a pretty horendous movie.

Best movie of 2012 was Looper. Surprisingly, it was better than Cloud Atlas. Looper was one of the best films I've ever seen. The shots the director was able to get were breathtaking — Rian Johnson is seriously a breath of fresh air in visual perspective.
