Blender Magazine Comes To An End: Will Maxim Magazine Survive?

Blender Magazine was founded in 2001 and provided dedicated readers coverage of popular musicians. Owned by Alpha Media Group, the same company that owns Maxim, Blender magazine's April issue will be its last. Will Alpha Media Group stay afloat soley by Maxim magazine or will it tank in the near future?

...Is a great magazine. I had a subscription in the past, but gave it up because of the cost (like most magazines these days). I think it will survive by going digital.

I'd actually like to see all of these type of mags/rags disappear, including "People". To me, they are a huge waste of $$ and time. They heavily encourage "jonesing (keeping up with the Jones's). They are also part of what keep the sheeple distracted and ignorant of what is really going on around them. Thanks for your time.

You're a dull person. You obviously have never read any of these magazines, or you would know that they are informative. I feel they keep me in touch with what's going on around me and other parts of the world. Sure, they are not Popular Mechanics or National Geographic, but they do serve a purpose.

I have looked through such mags and found them worthless, just like the MSM coverage of Paris Hilton going to jail. I also don't do much with Popular Mechanics or Nat'l Geo due to their globalist propaganda. I much more interested in protecting myself from and the exposure of the steeped Orwellian encroachment of my ability and right to be a free living man on the land in the Name of Jesus (doesn't the "Bill Of Rights" cover this?). What do you read then? Survivalist magazines, hunting magazines, repair manuals, medical journals? I chuckle every time I look at the words "globalist prapaganda." I don't understand how any media magazine is stiffling your rights and freedoms, if anything they should be affirming them by embracing the freedom of speech. Yes, not everything is worth reading, but you should be able to reason out what are the important parts to atleast yourself. My Maxim subscription was from a friend and I read it for the amusement, but often I would find interesting bits on better health, medicine, technology, electronics, vehicles, and the work place that I would later research more into. I prefer magazines like Shooting Times, Discovery, Woodsmith, and others that are informative and will expand my understands in life. They free my mind. Free your mind, free your soul.

Eventually, the internet is going to kill all printed and commercially televised media. The irony is that our instant access to photos, or information, usually is linked to printed or televised media.
