Blake Lively Wants 30 Kids: Terrific or Terrifying?

Why is Blake Lively holding a goat? Well, it could have something to do with the fact that she wants 30 "kids." "I've always wanted a big family," the "Gossip Girl" actress, newly married to Ryan Reynolds, tells Allure. Asked how many kids she would like to have, she replies, "Oh, I'd love 30 if I could." Hang in there, Ryan!

Lively also reveals that she is actually quite ... boring. And surprisingly normal for a Hollywood star. "I'm a very shy person," Lively says. "I can be outgoing, but I'm also very private. I don't drink. I've never tried a drug."

And -- gasp! -- she actually eats at restaurants, and doesn't have a diet and exercise routine. "I wish I could lie and say that I do something, but ... I obviously have plenty of imperfections on my body, but I'd rather have a little bit of cellulite and go do a food trip and try every ice cream place in the South."

Sounds like a cool chick to us. And she's actually ... happy. "Right now, I'm so peaceful. I've never been happier in my life," she tells the mag. Well, things will be a lot less peaceful if she actually ends up having 30 kids!

    More like not possible. An average woman can have a maximum 1.25 children a year. Wikipedia sez she's twenty-five now. She'd have to pop out at LEAST a tricycle motor a year for 30 years--25 if you factor in an extra rug rat every four years--with no break. She'd be 50 or 55 by the time she got done. Women these days go into menopause by age 45.

    30 is of course unrealistic but I have known people who have been in very large families and they seem to be well adjusted. Better her, who can afford to have as many children as she wants then someone who cannot afford to look after them.

    Maybe she meant "kids" like baby goats lol! Seriously though, the thought is terrifying to me but if that's what she wants, that's good for her. She was obviously exaggerating though. I like her attitude towards life.

    i dont think shes serious about 30 kids unless shes taking foster kids or adopting. if they can afford to give that many kids a good home why not?? there are many kids falling through the cracks these days.
