Blake Lively Wants 30 Kids: Terrific or Terrifying?

Why is Blake Lively holding a goat? Well, it could have something to do with the fact that she wants 30 "kids." "I've always wanted a big family," the "Gossip Girl" actress, newly married to Ryan Reynolds, tells Allure. Asked how many kids she would like to have, she replies, "Oh, I'd love 30 if I could." Hang in there, Ryan!

Lively also reveals that she is actually quite ... boring. And surprisingly normal for a Hollywood star. "I'm a very shy person," Lively says. "I can be outgoing, but I'm also very private. I don't drink. I've never tried a drug."

And -- gasp! -- she actually eats at restaurants, and doesn't have a diet and exercise routine. "I wish I could lie and say that I do something, but ... I obviously have plenty of imperfections on my body, but I'd rather have a little bit of cellulite and go do a food trip and try every ice cream place in the South."

Sounds like a cool chick to us. And she's actually ... happy. "Right now, I'm so peaceful. I've never been happier in my life," she tells the mag. Well, things will be a lot less peaceful if she actually ends up having 30 kids!

    Though i personally think she's gonna get mad half-way through her life.
    30 kids MEANS 300times the responsibility of raising 1 kid. Good luck with that. If you're really going through with this.

    She's in love. Her remark is in the spirit of emotional hyperbole, and it is doubtful she is being completely serious. Even if she did actually mean those words literally, the honeymoon period is finite. As always, life, the universe and everything is waiting to remind everyone of the difference between what we wish for and what the world will actually allow.

    Er uh what? She might suggest adopting some children in addition to having some of her own. Oh and Blake brings in the bucks same as Ryan Reynolds, but way to try to suggest otherwise. One last thing... do you mean "nympho" as in nymphomaniac? Wanting 30 kids- does not qualify her for that term.

    I choose not to be terrified of things that are biologically impossible. If she averaged a child every 10 months (1 month thrown in to recover), it would take her 25 years to reach that goal. Mothers are beautiful, but that would definitely wreck her figure a bit.

    I am all for people having 30 kids if they so chose. America is great.

    By the way, I never heard of here but I am familiar with Ryan Reynolds and she seems like a good wife.

    But hey, if I was married to her man I'd want that many kids too. I don't thinnk she'd manage to give brith to all 30 though. A friends mum had 11 kids and by the last one her stomach muscles were stretched so thin she would be endangering herself and the child if she ever got pregnant again.

    And Blake Lively can afford 30 kids. That is way too many for me by any stretch
    of the imagination. I love children but I wouldn't want them to overtake my life.
    I'd like to adopt one or two and give them a beautiful loving home.
