Billy Ray Cyrus Cancels TV Appearances: Can He Put His Family Back Together?

Perhaps encouraged by overwhelmingly negative reactions to his GQ interview, Billy Ray Cyrus has reportedly dropped out of planned appearances on "Good Morning America" and "The View."
Cyrus told People magazine, "It is very important to me to work on mending my family right now. My family is the most important thing I have, and we are working together to make sure our future is stronger and healthier."
However, a friend of the Cyrus family told Pop Eater, "When Miley found out her father was scheduled to appear on 'The View' on Wednesday she went nuts. Only last week, Billy shot his mouth off in GQ, and now he planned to sit down with [Barbara and Whoopi] and talk more crap about his family. No way would Miley or her team let that happen."
We wouldn't blame Miley for giving her dad an earful. In his GQ interview earlier this month, Cyrus compared his daughter to Kurt Cobain and Anna Nicole Smith and blamed his family trouble -- including his recent divorce -- on "Hannah Montana" and Satan.
Pop Eater's inside source continued, "At first Miley defended her dad, wanting to believe he had been tricked into saying bad things by the magazine...After she found out about his media trip to New York no more excuses could be made."

+7Not only do I think Billy Ray and Miley are doing each other, I think Miley's mother is Billy Ray's sister.
Miley's a slut, her dad is a cowboy, and their mom if feeding of the money.

Miley Cyrus made her reputation and built her star status as the most pure girl in America Hannah Montana who parents were proud to have their young daughters emulate and look up to. Then she pulled a 180 most likely because her handlers decided if she were going to make it as an adult celebrity that she had to shatter her image of wholesomeness and she readily agreed.
Billy Ray let this happen, even encouraged it... he is getting what he deserves and since Miley is an adult, he has no control over her so nothings going to change except that he may no longer be able to ride her coattails trying to recapture a little of his own lost celebrity status.
