It's currently not quite as good as the first couple of series, but it is still more than a cut above most other comedies, especially if you're even slightly of the geeky persuasion yourself..

Love the show. American humor comes in two types. One is European (clown falls over and gets hurt), the other is British (double meanings, situation comedy, sexual, Shakespear style)

It is funny at times.....not hilarious, but it is entertaining. I love the opening song the best. But true, being an Australian I think we 'get' English humour more than American. But a good American comedy is great. Like Seinfeld, Arrested Development, Curb your enthusiasm, to name some favourites.!

Yep! The funniest damn show I've seen in a long time. I just hope they didn't jump the shark with Amy Farah Fowler. One Sheldon is funny, but two is one too many.

I love them.Besides I'm graduated in arts, I'm electrical engeneering too and I really love when They start with all mathemathical and phisics stuff!! I think they are totally insane.

It isn't the most original show in the world, but I like all the characters EXCEPT Sheldon..just too narcississtic and annoying..but yet it seems to be "his" show. I watch mostly because Kaley/Penny is HOT, and the other guys are funny in their own ways, especially Rajh, who is actually the most "normal" of the guys except for his problem of speaking with women unless he is drunk!

What are you talking about?! Sheldon is the BEST character! He was so well cast, Jim Parsons truly does have the hardest part in the entire show. Some of the lines he has to learn are so long and complicated. As well as that, his insensitivity and blatant 'cluelessness' gives him some hilarious lines. Although the writers of the show didn't actually intend it, Sheldon shows many symptoms of Aspergers Syndrome, a form of autism. He can't help the way he is, and the way he hurts peoples' feelings without having any idea as to why makes him the funniest character in the show, leading to being most people's favourite.

Obviously he is the most popular character, but the over-the-top narcissism is more than my taste. Why I couldn't even watch Will and Grace, there is a such thing as too much gay, and NO, I am not bashing gays, but I don't like having them force fed to me. Parsons is indeed gay, and it certainly shows in his character. I like ALL the other characters, though, because they are good foils for him. As far as favorite character, i readily admit I am WAY outnumbered by the people that like him the best, I confess!

I do enjoy it, but I have the self respect to feel bad about the fact that I like it.

I feel like I like it because I see it as a self-aware parody of ridiculously inaccurate geek stereotypes from the early 90's that no one could believe today. And everyone else, possibly the shows creators as well, see it as the way geeks actually are.

Well, I have a cat, and her name is Sarah. It was SAHARA at the animal shelter, so i jusr dropped a syllable. I know alot of people that just call their cat..."KITTY"!!!!
