Bieber Reportedly Proposed to Selena: Do You Think It's Why They Broke Up?

Last week, Selena Gomez apparently ended her relationship with Justin Bieber, and new information has suggested that this was because he had proposed to her. According to Perez Hilton, Justin proposed to Selena twice in the months leading up to their break up.

Apparently, he first proposed to her months ago but she said no, saying they should wait a few months. He then proposed again, but once again she turned him down. A source has allegedly said that "They have agreed to never, never, ever talk about the proposals! It would be far too damaging to his reputation if people found out that a smaller star turned down a bigger star."

Blind Gossip have also reported that Selena “saw the relationship as a job from the beginning,” explaining why she doesn’t want to make it a permanent arrangement. Do you think this is what caused them to break up?

    Much respect for Selena. She seems pretty straight shooting and definitely more mature than Bieber. I think Bieber proposed to salvage a failing romance. As they say, "a ship arriving too late to save a drowning witch". Selena very obviously saw through his needy, insincere actions and promptly dumped his ass. He deserves it. The kid acts like a f'n brat.

    I believe girls mature much faster than boys! and perhaps that is the reason for this breakup! She, perhaps did not see Justin as mature as herself and could perhaps see a bigger picture of future, trying to avoid much worse disaster! Good for her, I would say!

    usually it's guys who would get scared off by the proposal, not girls, well, at least that's what I think. Maybe they had had problems all along and he thought he could save the relationship by popping the question, who knows.
