Pop superstar Beyoncé has signed a partnership with Pepsi that has an estimated worth of $50 million. According to the terms of the deal, Beyoncé will appear in a new commercial for the brand and make other advertising appearances, while Pepsi will invest in her independent artistic ventures.
In a statement released through the
New York Times, Beyoncé has said that “Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve. As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity.”

She’s been a collaborator of Pepsi since 2002, and the TV commercial that she will star in for the brand will be her fifth in a decade. She’s also going to appear on a line of limited edition cans in March, and is due to perform at the Pepsi-sponsored halftime show at the next Super Bowl.
