Michelle Obama has at least one devoted fan -- Beyonce. The singer has recorded a video of a letter she wrote to the first lady in April in which she calls Mrs. Obama "the ultimate example of a truly strong African American woman." And in a savvy bid for young voters, the video has been released by President Obama's re-election campaign. Wait for the :15 mark in the video below to see a clip!

"She is a caring mother, she's a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the First Lady," Beyoncé, 30, says in the video. "No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope, she's humble, loving, and sincere." She continues, "Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that you do for us. I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to."

When the letter was first posted online in April, Mrs. Obama, 48, responded to Beyonce on Twitter: "Thank you for the beautiful letter and for being a role model who kids everywhere can look up to." Sounds like a love-fest to us! Do you think the video will help the president's re-election campaign?

Triple the kids living in poverty, half the number of middle class citizens, wealthiest 3% have seen their net worth increase more than anytime since the great depression, more spent on vacations in 3.5 years than the last 6 presidents combined, what isn't to love.

If this is the way people vote then that's ridiculous. "Ohhh if she likes him then I like him too". "Ohhh if she votes for him then I'm going to vote for him too". -Ridiculous

Sure, it may influence a few young American's. We are going to be out even more this November to vote strong for The Obama Family. There's no need to care about how other folks may feel about Obama, so what! We want him remain in the White House 4 more years. What purpose do we have to throw our votes away on Willard, we know who he in this race for, and it surely isn't us, nor is it you if you don't have a few million in the bank. So the only ones getting suckered by Willard Romney is you.

it's a message for all Blacks, Latinos, Gays, and Middle Class people to get out and vote, which is 3/4 of the population.

With these numbers, I suspect: FOUR MORE YEARS!!

This message is for everybody really, because if Willard get's in the House, we all are going to go down, black, white, dems and republican's. Because Willard is not for America in that way. It's plain to see that he is going to hook the super rich up and not you or me.

I mean, it's really good PR, and lends positive vibes to the Obama campaign.

    It can only help.

I'd think anytime someone says something good about you and you get good press over it you'll be viewed more favorably, at least by some voters.

She isn't the one running for President...so if anyone voted for him because of good said about her, that is WRONG. Just like it is wrong to vote for him just because he is black. Both, MO and BO , have the same opinion of America and white people. They hate them. I don't know why anyone, that is a TRUE patriot of America, would want either of them in OUR house.

I think anyone from the ages of 18 to 35 should have to take a pop quiz at the voting station on politics and knowledge of participants policies before being allowed to vote.

It will just infuriate the right wing WASP base, but they are already seething with hate for the Obamas. If it motivates some young voters, that's a net gain.

Never before Obama have I seen so many celebrities endorse a candidate. Am I imagining things or is Obama particularly special among celebrities? I never paid much attention to politics until the last decade or so so it's possible I missed it, but Obama just seems to be getting more celebrity endorsement than anyone else in memory.
