Oooh, Beyonce -- Oprah’s gonna be SO mad at you!
Directly defying Ms. Winfrey’s latest “No Phone Zone” campaign, pop superstar Beyonce was caught texting while driving in New York City, according to Star magazine. She was pulled over by a cop and slapped with a $100 ticket, according to reports.
“Beyonce was really embarrassed because she only recently got her driver’s license,” a source said, according to Sister 2 Sister magazine. “She tried to charm the cop and told him that she had no idea that texting while driving was against the law. He had no idea who she was. He just slapped her with a ticket, which was worth more than $100!”
Beyonce, don't you know you're a role model for millions of kids? Plus we want to see you live a long life and make little mash-up babies with Jay-Z. Keep your eyes on the road!

Maybe we could just put all the text and drive crowd on the same freeway and mop up the litter later, thus increasing highway safety for every one else in the process
everybody do it!!!
And you know, we were driving down the road the other day behind a man in a truck whom we could clearly see he was reading text messages. I said to my significant other that he was going to cause a wreck. About 5 minutes later the man in the truck slams on his breaks and swerved to miss rear ending someone who had stopped to turn. Creating a chain affect where everyone behind him is screeching to a stop.
Who cares who Beyonce is, give her a ticket and make her pay for it. If she did not want to be embarrassed she should not have been doing something that is clearly dangerous.
And she just got her drivers license? Her attention should be focused on driving.
Recklessness at its worst.

But let this be a lesson, that eventually we have to learn, CELEBRITIES AREN'T GOOD ROLE MODELS. Stop, just STOP treating sports stars and celebrities like they're Godly figures and such good examples for our children. They're not. That isn't their area of expertise.
