Beyonce's thrilling halftime performance at the Super Bowl on Sunday was a big hit with critics, fans and even football nuts, and she's chosen her moment as the most talked about musician in the world to announce her first world tour since 2009. Check out the video below for more on her upcoming tour.
The tour, which was revealed via her website shortly after the Super Bowl, is being billed as "The Mrs. Carter Show," and will open with a huge show at the legendary Staples Center in Los Angeles on June 28.
The gig will be part of the BET Experience, a weekend of shows that will also include performances at L.A. Live venues from Erykah Badu, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Miguel and Schoolboy Q, the Roots, R. Kelly, New Edition and the Jacksons.
The 22 dates of the American leg of the tour will end in hubby Jay-Z's home town on Brooklyn on August 3 before she heads out to Europe. First, it was President Obama's inauguration. Then, it was the Super Bowl halftime show -- and now, a world tour. Do you think Beyonce is gearing up for world domination?
