When Beyonce and Jay-Z married in 2008, it was as much a business merger as a love match -- and it's finally paid off. The duo is No. 1 on Forbes' list of The World’s Highest-Paid Celebrity Couples, after coming in second place last year.

Even though Beyonce took some time off after baby Blue was born, she earned $40 million between May 1, 2011 and May 1, 2012, according to Forbes. If we made that much, we'd take some time off, too! As for Jay-Z, he took in $38 million -- not too shabby.

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen and and her NFL boyfriend Tom Brady come in second place on the list, with Gisele bringing home $45 million and Brady earning $27 million. David and Victoria Beckham take the bronze, with Beckham making $46 million as world's highest-paid soccer player and Victoria earning $8 million from her fashion line and other pursuits. And the list of wealthy celeb couples go on and on... It must be nice to be rich, famous and beautiful! So, tell us: Who's your favorite money-making duo?

Talent notwithstanding, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are known primarily for their stunning looks, and they seem to be more evenly matched than the other 4 couples in the line up, in my opinion.

It was a toss up for me between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Vs. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. These two couples as well as other couples that are now making less money as a couple ( especially the older actors and actresses ) because they have slowed up in their acting career or haven't made any movies at all recently. But yeah Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have gone the extra mile to help those in need as a family. They know how and where to spend their money instead of boozing or drugging it up and making fools of themselves. A Job well done to Brad and Angelina.

I almost every couple except Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen, I know who Gisele is, she's a brazilian fashion model but i didn't know who Tom Brady is until i looked him up, he's a football player, a quaterback to be exact, for the New England Patriots of the NFL. I didn't know she was married.

Tabloids and the media have tried as hard as they could to break this couple, and they failed.

They are dedicated to themselves and their family, and as the rest on this list also likely know: that is what's important. Not fame and attention.

They are doing perfumes, fashionable dresses, and maintaining their Beckham brand to keep themselves busy in the media as well as making millions. They are doing it quietly (relatively speaking) while raising their brood of four children whereas the others are constantly in the media.

Because of the depth of Angelina Jolie's charity as well as the fact that both of them are decent actors.
I also like Will and Jada, David and Victoria, and Tom Brady and Gisele. One outstanding exception.
