What's the best thing you've bought off eBay? An old games console? Some vintage clothes? How about a date with a "Golden Girl"? Well, now you can!

That's right, everyone's favorite 90-year-old has got herself into the eBay scene, and is offering up a dinner date with herself to the highest bidder. Betty is an outspoken lover, and the auction is to raise money for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

You're also allowed to bring three friends to the date, just in case feisty Betty is too much for one person to handle! If some of her antics are anything to go by -- such as the single, "I'm Still Hot," that she recorded with Luciana for the Lifeline Program -- she'd probably be quite a handful. And you'll want someone to share all that cheesecake with. Do you think Betty would make a good date?

I'm sure she'd be a terrific date. Her humour and good nature would put many precious young princesses in the shade. But if I had chance to meet them back in their heyday, I would have gone for my favourite Golden Girl. I thought Bea Arthur was a riot because of her dry delivery and unmatched deadpan.

I would LOVE to go on a date with her and I think it's a great way to earn money for a charity! I know every friend I know of would be wanting to go too, lol. Betty White is such a fun lady, at least that's the persona she portrays. I bet it would be a real laugh fest having dinner with her. And I sure do hope that when I'm her age, I still enjoy life as much as she does, she is an inspiration.

Betty White is one of the most over-rated, over-hyped actresses around. I am glad she has had a good long life - but ever since she and Seinfeld's Jason Alexander piped up for Obama pretending they, too, lived middle class lives and Obama was our best choice - no interest in them anymore - phonies.....can't wait til the new tax rates on the rich are kicked up and these people do get a clue what being middle income is like in America. LMFAO

She's be a great date! But I don't believe I could compete on eBay. I wouldn't be taking three friends along either! She's one damned inspiring individual. And whatever she'd want to do on the first date would be fine with me. I also share her love of animals, which is based on understanding and respect for all critters.
