Former Cincinnati Bengals and current New England Patriots wide receiver Chad Ochocinco is changing his name -- again. Ochocinco, who was previously known as Chad Johnson, will go back to Johnson in time for his upcoming wedding. The former NFL Pro Bowler claims he doesn't want his wife to have the last name Ochocinco. Smart thinking, dude.

Via TMZ.com: Say goodbye to Chad Ochocinco ... the Patriots star is telling friends, he plans to change his last name BACK to Johnson in time for his wedding this summer -- because he doesn't want his wife to have a made-up last name. Ocho's wedding to his "Basketball Wives" fiancee Evelyn Lozada is set for July in Florida...we're told Evelyn doesn't care what name she ends up with -- Johnson or Ochocinco -- the choice is entirely up to Chad ... but it appears he's already made up his mind.

Well, which name do you prefer: Chad Ochocinco or Chad Johnson? Something tells us Chad's parents probably prefer the latter.

Which is better? I dunno, what name was he born with?

If he is that full of himself, then why not put a hyphen in his name while he's at it. Nothing says "dignity" and "prestige" quite like a hyphen!

It may be tough for people to get used to, but he should take pride in his name & get people to stop being lazy over difference & bring his name to fame. Why choose a common name for yourself, like the slave owners did to Africans because their names were too difficult to pronounce or remember.
