Royal Baby Fever is already taking over the world. People are speculating about how far along Kate is. How long will she be bedridden? Will she have a boy or girl? And of course the big question: what will the heir to the throne’s name be? Irish bookie Paddy Power, a firm that takes bets on typical fare like sports, but also unusual markets like political events, is laying odds on several of the popular choices.
If the royals have a baby girl, the obvious frontrunner is Diana, after Will’s late mom. Of course, a boy could also be named in her honor with the moniker Spencer. Other princess names being floated around are Elizabeth (after grandmum and great-grandmum), Victoria (another longstanding family name) as well as Anne or Mary.
If the heir to the throne is a prince, they could choose to name him after his grandpa, Philip, or other relatives, granddaddy Charles or predecessors George or John. According to Paddy Power, Elizabeth has the highest odds at 16-1 and Diana is one of the more favored choices at 9-1. Mary, Victoria and John beat them both out at 8-1.
It is fairly certain though that whatever name the royal couple decides, it will be very traditional. But since most royals have four or five names, they can probably cover all the bases in one fell swoop. Will’s full name, after all, is William Arthur Philip Louis. And to add another layer to the selection, at least according to the latest rumors, the couple will need to have a few names chosen since the Duchess may be having royal twins. What do you think? What name should Kate and Will pick for their royal baby?

Diana was and is the best princess ever. Not even Camilla can ever take her place as a mother for William and Harry.
Really, who cares.
After ME.
Boy: William Philip Charles Spencer
anyway.....
Now for something completely different...
Lets talk about Kate's hat. I'm not a hater. I think she is fly. I would like for "church lady hats" to catch on among young ladies here in the US. ;o)
Only people I know wear those here are 50+ years old ladies on a Sunday morning.
Seriously, I would like to see young ladies dress like that here.
Showing my ignorance and male chauvinism again
In any case let the parents pick the name they like.
