Best musical act at the Olympics Closing Ceremony?

Did the Spice Girls spice up your life last night? The "Girls" (now pushing 40 with plenty of babies between them) reunited Sunday night for the Olympics Closing Ceremony -- and even London Mayor Boris Johnson couldn't help but dance along to "Wannabe" and "Spice Up Your Life." However, we were a little worried that Victoria Beckham was going to fall off that car she was teetering on!

Overall, the Closing Ceremony felt like one big rock concert. George Michael has had his share of personal problems, but he had plenty of fan support as he took the stage to sing his 1990 hit, "Freedom." We'd never heard of British pop star Jessie J, but apparently she's big enough to be chosen to sing "We Will Rock You" with Queen’s Brian May. But fans were furious when NBC delayed The Who's performance to show a preview of its new comedy "Animal Practice."

What about Ray Davies ? Here in the UK, The Kinks classic Waterloo Sunset was just stunning to see & hear - a great song from a legendary London singer/songwriter.

Spice Girls? Yuck - lovely girls, maybe, but talentless nothings ... I'll take Annie Lennox, Fat Boy Slim, Brian May, even the recording of John Lennon singing over the "Spice Girls"
