Lately I've been listening to a lot of Judas Priest these days via YouTube; now I can see why people called him The [emphasized "the"] Metal God of all time during their early heydays; before and after arriving to America back then!!
Watching their videos very recently [Priest], I enjoyed how Halford looked with all the leather and studs ensemble he wore most of the time back then (pre-S&M; look; which is now predominantly owned by gay boys of the world today!!) and he still "fits" the look perfectly to a tee, past and present!!
You could make an argument for #2, but #1 overwhelmingly, by any measure, is BiB.
From wikipedia:
The album has sold an estimated 50 million copies worldwide to date [2][3][4][5], making it the second highest-selling album of all time, the highest-selling album by a band, the best-selling hard rock album of all-time, and the best-selling album ever released by an Australian musical act [6]. On 13 December 2007, the RIAA certified it 22× Multi Platinum, recognizing sales of 22 million in the United States [7], making it the the sixth-highest selling album in the US (fourth-highest at the time). [8]
Back In Black is also praised for its sound quality. In the years after its release studios in Nashville, Tennessee, U.S. (nicknamed "Music City") would use it to check the acoustics of a room, while Motorhead would use it to tune their sound system.[24]
From wikipedia:
Sandinista! is the fourth studio album by the English punk rock band The Clash. It was released on 12 December 1980 as a triple album containing 36 tracks, with 6 songs on each side.[1][2] Anticipating the "world music" trend of the 1980s, it features reggae, jazz, mock gospel, rockabilly, folk, dub, rhythm and blues, calypso, and rap.[1][2][3] For the first time, the band's traditional songwriting credits of Strummer and Jones were replaced by a generic credit to the Clash,[2] and the band cut the album royalties, in order to release the 3-LP at a low price.[4][5]
The title comes from the Nicaraguan socialist political party, the Sandinistas, and its catalogue number, 'FSLN1', refers to the abbreviation for Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional.[3][4][6] Sandinista! was voted the best album of the year in The Village Voice's Pazz & Jop critics poll, and it was ranked number 404 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time in 2003.[3] Slant Magazine listed the album at number 85 on its list of "Best Albums of the 1980's" in 2012.[7]

Being RR is my favorite Guitar Player, I am going with Ozzy. But Dio joining Sabbath and being one of my favorite vocalist made it hard to pick, Maiden and Priest my all time favorites. Def Leppard even kicked ass but only through Pyromania.
Good tough poll
