i dont have one...look, all thet i,m saying that ther is one person deserve to be in those choses but as like you like it...i,m taking Dave Mustaine who got out from the metallica band OK

That's tricky! It's a tie between Hendrix, Clapton and Page for me, but Stairway to Heaven just about wins it :)

Jimmy Page never misses a note. However, as a vocalist, writer or more rounded musician I'd have to say Eric Clapton. The guy just keeps getting better with age. I do appreciate every one of them you listed and a few you left out.

-At least in the 60s and 70s, he makes a lot of mistakes while playing now.

-I completely agree; Clapton was a very well rounded musician and was very talented. I especially love his work in Cream and Blind Faith.

-Thank you, I wish I could include every guitarist who deserves to be listed, but I have to draw the line somewhere and 8 has been my number in the other categories (Vocals, Bass, and Drums). I would have liked to add Slash and Wolf Hoffmann to this list. Who are some of your other favorites?

I like a lot of different styles. How about Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray, Neil Young, Willie Nelson, Prince, Les Paul, Frank Zappa...the list goes on and on.

I'm afraid that I'm definitely a Hard Rock/Heavy Metal guy and I just can't compare Prince to Hendrix.

I wasn't comparing them, they're just a couple more out of the many musicians I like. I try not to get too caught up in genres because you miss some of the best musicians in the world that way. I guess I'm just a musician's musician lover. It serves me well being from the Music Capital of the World. Any kind of live music you want to hear on any given night. I love it. You ought to take a trip down here some day.

Only Tony Iommi invented Heavy Metal, invented sludge metal, and mastered speed metal. He was the most innovative guitarist for me.
