He's currently injured --- Brandon Morrow. THREE complete game shutouts (the only pitcher, when I last checked, to have that this season). It won't be long before he has a perfect game.
He's also pitching like an ace should, shutting people down game after game.
yeah morrows good and he has the stuff to be an ace no question. but he's having one breakout year before this year he was an aj burnett type pitcher either dominant or horrible. he could be one of the best but im not sure if im ready to consider morrow that yet there are plenty of pitchers with breakout seasons and went back to their mediocre selves (ubaldo, james shields).
not passing on morrow because hes a blue jay... he's just never hit his ceiling yet. the kid's got talent ive seen him shut down the yankees lineup a bunch of times. but i wonder if he can mature to an ace of if he's going to be like aj burnett someone with a high ceiling but that's about it.
not this year at least he's having a really bad year in a light hitting division. im not sure how good he is he kind of reminds me of how jake peavy was back then.
