Craig will return for the third time as 007, and Rhys Ifans and Ralph Fiennes are also on board. The film will be directed by Sam Mendes, and Javier Bardem may play a villain, if you believe the rumors. The movie's U.S. premiere is slated for Nov. 9, 2012, after a long delay due to financial concerns.
As for Marlohe, she's appeared in French TV and movies, but never in English. She certainly has the look, but can she top Berry's orange bikini, Denise Richards (as an unconvincing nuclear physicist) in a tank top and above all, quintessential Bond girl Ursula Andress? +7I chose Ursula Andress as the best Bond Girl, because the original is best. She was the first girl to come dripping from the sea in her white bikini, and it's one of film's iconic scenes. Halle Berry merely mimicked Andress when she was a Bond Girl. Also, Sean Connery was the best actor to play James Bond, hands down. Pierce Brosnan was a good 007, but throughout the years, there have been some real stinkers, too. [Timothy Dalton?] I'm not sure I'm buying Daniel Craig in the role, but it's hard for me to accept a blond James Bond. All this talk of 007 and his lady friends makes me thirsty. I think I'll go fix me a vodka martini. Shaken, not stirred.
The new ones just do not have it and Eva Green looked like a starving raccoon.
I will always prefer the original than the followers.
