This has the potential to be the most epic war since the Battle of the Pelennor Fields at the end of "Return of the King." Imagine wave after wave of Justin Bieber fans (a.k.a. Beliebers) pouring into an endless sea of Lady Gaga fans (a.k.a. Little Monsters), axes held high, arrows piercing flesh from every direction, blood flowing in rivulets through the high grass. This is nothing like that. We just wanted to paint that picture.

According to The New York Post, some Justin Bieber fans are declaring an all-out "unfollow" war on Lady Gaga in an attempt to dethrone her from her position as the most-followed person on Twitter. Gaga has 21 million followers to Bieber's 19 million, and one Belieber wrote, "I'm not trying to trash Gaga or anything I am a fsan [sic] of her music but I think Justin should be #1 followed on Twitter!" Hey, a fsan's gotta do what a fsan's gotta do. But do you think Justin Bieber's posse has the strength to de-thone Lady Gaga?

This is pathetic, really. Last time I checked, Lady Gaga already had 22 million Twitter followers (including me :]). Justin Bieber is a fad little girls, hate to speak the truth to you because none of you will accept it. Beliebers - temporary. Little Monsters - for life :D!

I Lady Gaga so much and I am a fan. i am not a beleieber or whatever they call them but Lady Gaga rocks and I actually like how eccentrc she is. That keeps me hooked to her.

Since Justin is getting older and his fans are too, I'm thinking that his number of followers will decrease as well. He's a teen heartthrob, but most entertainers can't sustain that same fan base as they age unless they have that certain something--and I'm not sure beiber has it. I doubt girls in their 20s think it's cool to listen to his music and then it will be weird for him to eventually be that age and still singing to 10 and 13 year olds.

Clearly you are prejudging Justin Bieber. You know nothing about him and you are assuming he is not talented. BEFORE you do that...look into him. He can play 4 or 5 instruments. Since he was a toddler he was obviously talented. There are videos of him on youtube from when he was around the age of 4 and 5 and he was drumming (while keeping a beat). He and his single mother busted their asses off to get to this level. No decent human being could look at this young man's success story and not be inspired. You don't have to like his music to appreciate his story.

lol you are funny! MJ is way better than JB talentwise. That is what I mean. JB can't surpass MJ's level because he is just a fade. Soon he will fade away just like any other preteen and teen fade. No one talks about the Jonas Brothers anymore. No one will be listening to or talking about JB in ten years. People will be listening to MJ in 25 years as well as Elvis, who was also talented.
