I say Beatles, but that's just me. I want to know from all of you! I like the Beatles, my friend Kamille likes the stones. Who's right? (If you answer Beatles, go to thebeatlesarerocking.webs.com)

Heck Yeah! Any Stones fan, go watch the All You Need is Love video. You can see Mick Jagger singing along in the crowd! That proves The Beatles are better!

BEATLES ALL THE WAY! Both are awesome, and the Stones have lasted longer, but all in all, the Beatles have much greater songs, and a much greater band.

"Those four" almost destroyed rock 'n' roll--it took the Rolling Stones to remind people that rock 'n' roll is NOT clean-cut choirboy music, but instead is supposed to be surly, snarling--and ugly.

DEFINETLY THE BEATLES

they'll never be forgotten. I should know because I'm 16 and I still enjoy listening to the Beatles with the some of the "old people", but Stones-not so much.

I prefer The Beatles, but the Rolling Stones do have some good songs from their earlier years.
However, you just can't beat the Lennon/McCartney songwriting team. George Harrison and Ringo Starr are brilliant as well.

I grew up listening to the Beatles when my older siblings had their records. Yes, records. I loved them. The Stones came along and although I love their music, they represent a bad period of time in my opinion. Drugs, flower children, to name a few. I have better memories with the Beatles music. Music wise between the two groups, 50-50.

Cool, I have records too! I'm only 13, and I got a turntable for Christmas when I was 11. My friends call me a modern flower child, minus the drugs, thankfully. Records are coming back! All my friends think that they're so cool!

actually I've listened to them a bit more recently and while I still think that they are overrated I think that they are better than the Rolling Stones who are massively overrated

I grew up listening to the Beatles. Comparing the Beatles Vs Stone, I say both are great, but the Beatles made my yuppies ages younger. I love especially John Lennon. He was my favorite of the Beatles. But, really both band are great. It just depend who is your favorite singer or player.

I got lucky enough to see the Stones in concert, but I have been a Beatles' fan since
'I Want To Hold Your Hand' first came out. Yes, that's right, I am THAT old. I loved that their music evolved with the times.

I'll always respect the beatles for paving the way so to say, but i've never been a fan.
I'll take the stones anyday. The music is more believable to me than sittin around singing strawberry fields forever! I'd rather blast "Lets spend the night together" out my 1970 chevelle doin' 70 then anything beatles related.

Tough question. I was always impressed with the innovation and beauty of Beatles music. However, the Stones are a better rock band but they rarely wrote their own music.

Real tough Question. Not really fair. There are so many that could tie both of these. Perhaps surpass them both! Ex: Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers (he's an awesome writer, singer and composer, guitarist), Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Bob Seger, Bruce Springstein and his band, ZZ TOP, Dylan...Michael McDonald formerly of the Doobie Brothers, REO Speedwagon, The Who (hello?!!!!!), Van Halen, Black Sabboth, Journey, Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), somebody stop me please !!!!!!!
