David Cook will win this season, he's ready to go on the road today. David Archuleta will eventually be even bigger, I see him as the next Elton John style singer and every bit as big.

I agree for the most part. Once he gets a contract his world will change and he has the voice and control to develop.

Guess we will just have to wait and see.

They are both great but Cook has a wider range of abilities. Archeleta is great on ballads and soft rock but Cook has the power that Archeleta just doesn't have. It's easy for Cook to throttle it back when it's not needed, but Archeleta dosen't have the ability to turn on the power that Cook has.

At least not now - he's only 17. When he ages 10 years he will probably be even better than Cook.

I'd really beg to differ that this is "the most talented group" of American Idol. I've pretty much decided that it is just the opposite. David Cook isn't bad, and he's clearly the best of this bunch, but if you had an "American Idol All Star Game" I think he'd finish last.

As for David A, he has a nice voice but he won't be ready to be a star for at least another five years.

true dat. I'm actually a voice coach and technically speaking, David has the best pitch of any contestant since season one.

I agree he has a wonderful voice. I just don't think he has the "presence" to win. Yet.

As Simon keeps asking - is it a singing competition or a popularity contest?

The first time I heard David A...I could not believe the purity of his voice, but, I feel he is limited!

Oh dear -- now I never got Jason -- one trick pony with a not terribly interesting trick. And he didn't even want to win, or certainly didn't act like it. IMO, he was on way longer than he deserved
