Baring all? Why Lady Gaga tweets 'naked' picture of herself reclining on an armchair?

To each their own, what they're comfortable with.

Whether it be good publicity or bad publicity, to the entertainer it is better than no publicity at all.

When the Pop stars start doing crap like this then kids start thinking it's OK and that is just wrong.

What's she doing, trying to get a photo shoot with Playboy? Oh, wait. She's not playing with herself. Gee, no idea now.

I'm kind of surprised at all the mean comments...it's so much easier for people to run their mouth when they're hiding behind a user name. I've seen her videos enough to know that she's actually very pretty and she's a talented singer and dancer. Why is she so "ugly" and "gross" ? Because she wears weird outfits ? a meat dress ? I don't see what all the negativity is about. Don't people remember, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all ?

She's the one that wants all the publicity, good or bad. Once someone becomes a "celebrity" they're getting what they asked for, especially after posting a picture like that. Very pretty? Your opinion and entitled to it. I've already stated here on SH that I'm not a fan of hers, but I did, and do, admit she has talent.
I'm a fan of music (people use real instruments and sing into a microphone with their own voice) but I'm not too much of a fan of entertainers. Too much good music out there now to listen to entertainment.

I admit that celebrities become famous because they like attention. But to say that they "asked for it" is ridiculous. No one asked for paparazzi and people bugging them whent hey're trying to eat, or shop. If Lady Gaga wasn't an attention getter then she wouldn't dress up in strange costumes everywhere. I don't see what's really wrong with the picture or why it would attract negative publicity. She's not the first woman do do that and she won't be the last. Everyone, famous or not, deserve to go about their business without being mobbed. So what if she like attention ? And I've heard her sing with her voice unaltered while playing a piano and she has a great voice. That sounds to me like a musician.

They know full well the repercussions of fame before they embark on their careers. If not, they're downright stupid. Everyone knows.

She's wearing underpants and the lighting is horrible, also, I'm not quite sure how she took the picture. Why is the camera tilted downward at her? Who is she posing for? Why would she do this? So many questions, so little sense.

She is wanting to one up that "call me maybe" chick, and get attention. That's all it's about.

I think she's gross, kind of funky faced funky shaped. A friend pointed out she had underwear on, I looked away long enough to hurl chunks and then report this that I'm typing right now.

She is not afraid of nudity. Good for her. What is disgusting about a naked woman? People need to loosen up.

She is one of the nastiest people on earth - this really adds to her nastiness!

she is not an ugly woman, but she always looks like she's high on something. I don;t understand what she hopes to gain from showing EVERYBODY what GOD gave her. Modesty is a vurtue. Take it to the nudist camp or keep it underwraps.

Well, technically not "everybody" because not everybody is on Twitter or Soda Head. And she isn't really showing anything...she covering up her breasts. Maybe she's not trying to "gain" anything, maybe she just felt like doing it. I actually find it pretty tame. In this day and age, I can't see why anyone would find that innapropriate.

If she wants to share pics of her body, it belongs to her and she can do what she wants. It is a lovely pic, I think.
