Barbara Walters Disses Queen Elizabeth: Does She Have a 'Sour Face'?

If YOU were a young brunette in her 20's - SIXTY years ago, I'd doubt you'd be smiling every single second either.

SHE WAS NEVER PRETTY AND THE AGE THING GETS TO US ALL

British queens have always been a little dowdy instead of pretentious, and a hat or other head covering is ALWAY worn as are gloves and bag immediately to hand.

She always has a purse with her. I guess even being queen, she don't trust her servants.

Let's see what Barbara What's-Her-Name looks like at the Queen's age. Will she be the height of contemporary fashion? Will she always wear a glued on smile? Will she always look like she's up for a party? I don't think so...

Barbara Walters already looks like she died and got a make up job from a mortician.

Lets face it.... she is in her 80's, must have some sort of aging pains as most of us do,,, she is probably not into sports and at that age probably doesn't give a hoot about being there.....

She smiles and laughs lots of times just like she's serious when need be. I think she is just sick and tired of doing some of these events considering her schedule. She's been doing this a long time.
Reference her handbag. There are lots of sites on the internet that list the items she carries around.
Reference her wardrobe I find it very appropriate for her position.
Lastly Barbara Wa Wa I find her a sad pathetic hasbin.

Look at the Queens face. It is a sour face. The question is ''Does the Queen have a sour face?'' not, NOT ''How do you feel about Barbara Walters?''

Why is Barbara Walters commenting on anyones face on TV? I haven't seen her face in proper focus in at least 15 years. Everytime she is on her face is in soft focus (a term a friend in PR told me).

Come on Barbara Wa Wa has to be in soft focus her show is on far to early in the day. If it wasn't in soft focus it would scare the crap out of any kids watching it.
Can you imagine in HD that sight would sterilize frogs at a thousand yards.

What do you expect her to wear? I respect her for keeping the British traditions. I would hate having to smile at the time.Maybe that face isn't sour, maybe she's enjoying herself with a quiet expression. I have that face too sometimes, doesn't mean I'm angry.

I'd be sour too if I knew the USA and China were going to dominate medals.

Barbara Walters is an ugly old has-been, lashing out at others for what she sees in herself... and will be be lucky if she looks half that good at 86.

Compare her with England's last one, Queen Victoria, who was "...not amused". Compared to that, QE II is always herself and does know how to party when the situation goes her way. After all, a queen has to be a queen.
And being a monarch means having a lot on your mind. After all she is still the legitimately recognized *ruler* of all 54 nations of the British Commonwealth... an awesome responsibility in anyone's book.
Perhaps I should go on record as saying I stand with Jefferson and the rest of the Founding Fathers as not buying in any way, shape or form into the credibility of inherited authority. Where is the historical research providing evidence that this clearly-inbred and genetically-isolated family deserves Royal status through being somehow genetically superior to the rest of us? Inquiring minds want to know and have a God-given RIGHT to ask. Meanwhile I will do whatever it takes to see the USA is never tricked into joining any group bearing the name Commonwealth. Onward -

If I was the queen, I wouldn't have done the James Bond thing. His character causes me to make a sour face, and so does Barbara Walters and that ridiculous gossip-fest of a show The View. Barbara can take her View and shove it into a black bag.

She looks better than Barbara Walters. After all our Queen is a lady in her 80's now and has done the UK proud during her 60 years as our monarch.She often looks thoughtful but genetics has a lot to do with her face just as it does with the rest of us..

It is not just her age, but she was not raised to believe royalty expressed themselves openly and dressed a certain way so as to differentiate themselves

She always look that way. Crack a smile already.

She smiles a LOT, and she's usually very cordial and gracious when greeting people, so she's not allowed to relax once in awhile? I'm surpised her face isn't frozen in a smile. Everyone has days they don't feel well; she may be in pain and is putting on the bravest face she has. And she can dress however she wants to. I think she always looks queenly.
