Barack Obama Thinks Beyoncé Is the Best Role Model for His Daughters: Do You?

She was a virgin til she married. Obama has repeatedly said he wants his girls to be able to abort their mistakes.

Aside from that, beyonce didn't finish her education and wouldn't be famous without a MAN's help. None of that is encouraging self reliance or education. Well, add the fact that she likes obama and we have the triangle of doom there.

Perhaps he said that because, "Beyoncé found herself under fire for performing a private concert for Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi on New Year's Eve in 2010." I would not choose a mega millionaire "entertainer" as a role model. Little too elitist and shallow,don't you think.

Although she's very pretty I don't think she's a good role model.SIngers generally aren't.

I think the best role models for children are their parents. I did my best to set a good example for my kids and didn't depend on others to show them how to be good people. My kids are some of the finest people you could ever meet. I don't take credit for everything good about them, I just did the best I could to steer them in the right direction.

Well, that's kind of a misleading way of asking the question. Obama said Beyonce "couldn't be a better role model" not that she's the "best" role model for his daughters. I don't think celebs should ever be the primary role model for children. That's their parents' job. But he didn't really say that.

Not yes as in BEST, but a decently good female role model. Married, good mom, no personal drama, carries herself well, wealthy business woman, charitable, beautiful, talented, Milfy, etc.

That may have been a nice compliment to Jay...albeit Michelle Obama being an actual first for his daughters in the role model department. It's a compliment...damn.

Beyonc'e is an excellent "Role Model" for all little girls! You never hear of Beyonc'e in the magazines or News with bad publicity. Now,Beyonc'e is a mother herself and a mother is the example for their daughters! The first lady Mrs Michelle Obama is a good "Role Model" also,she has accomplished something that will go down in "History"! I'm proud of "Both" women,for showing how to be a good example for all women!!

I am not familiar with Beyonce's life style, but Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan from a few years ago would be a better match to his mother's lifestyle.

In this case the Islamic flag would be an insult to Islam and likely for them to call for a beheadal.

Beyonce, comes from a good family. Her father was a very successful business man who quit his own high power career to help his daughters peruse their passion. Her mother was a successful small business woman who started from nothing and built her business from the ground up before also later in life helping her daughters peruse their dreams.

Beyonce was raised with good values and morals. She married a man who literally made billions out of nothing. She and her husband are examples of the American dream that all the haters (read as right wing douche bags) wish they had!

And she is VERY overrated, SMH. I have heard other young singers that sounds so much better than her and even dance better than her, but some singers are underrated and some are overrated.
